Nathan Payne, a 42-year-old man from Evansville, Indiana, died following a fatal single-vehicle crash involving a van at Grapevine Cemetery in Madisonville, Kentucky. According to investigators with the Hopkins County Sheriff’s Office, the crash occurred in the afternoon when the van reportedly left Grapevine Road for reasons still under investigation and entered the cemetery property. The vehicle then struck a tree with significant force and subsequently caught fire. Emergency responders were dispatched to the scene shortly after the crash was reported.
