Howell, 19, of Oro Grande, California, who tragically lost his life in a head-on collision on May 13, 2026, while driving his Chevrolet Suburban on National Trails Highway. Cody was reportedly taking his younger sister to school at the time of the accident, which also left his sister and the driver of a Dodge Ram injured. Emergency personnel pronounced Cody deceased at the scene, and the community has been left reeling from the heartbreaking news.
