Aden King Obituary, Bluefield, WV Accident Southern West Virginia Death – In Loving Memory

A tragic multi-vehicle crash in southern West Virginia claimed the life of 19-year-old Aden King of Bluefield, leaving the local community mourning the loss of a young life. The deadly accident occurred Thursday morning on Courthouse Road in Princeton and involved three vehicles, including a transit authority bus, according to investigators.

West Virginia State Police said the crash happened shortly after 7:30 a.m. when a vehicle driven by King reportedly crossed into the oncoming lane and collided with a Mountaineer Transit Authority bus. The impact caused severe damage to the vehicles involved and led to a major emergency response in the area. Authorities confirmed that King and a juvenile passenger traveling in the same vehicle both died as a result of the collision.

The 77-year-old driver of the transit bus sustained injuries and was transported by medical helicopter for treatment. Officials have not released updated information regarding the driver’s condition. No additional fatalities were reported in connection with the crash.

Investigators from the West Virginia State Police Accident Reconstruction Team continue examining the circumstances surrounding the wreck.
