Liam Toman Missing Mont-Tremblant, Québec – Over 15 Months Later, Search Continues for Missing Ontario Man Liam Toman in Mont-Tremblant

More than a year after his mysterious disappearance, the search for 22-year-old Liam Toman of Whitby, Ontario, continues with renewed intensity. Toman was last seen on the night of February 1–2, 2025, leaving a bar at approximately 3:20 a.m., and he never returned to his hotel. Despite multiple searches, surveillance footage, and community appeals, the circumstances of his disappearance remain unexplained.

This weekend, close to 90 volunteers, supported by specialized canine teams from SARCAN Québec, are combing new areas around Mont-Tremblant that may not have been fully explored. The trained dogs are capable of detecting both living individuals and human remains, reflecting the seriousness of the search efforts. Volunteers and families are leaving no stone unturned in the hope of finding clues that could solve this puzzling case.

Liam’s family has been tireless in their efforts, traveling from Whitby to Mont-Tremblant over 17 times since his disappearance. They have distributed posters, flyers, and wristbands as part of a “circle of strength” campaign, which his mother, Kathleen Toman, says symbolizes the support of the community in keeping Liam’s search alive. His stepmother, Lara Toman, emphasized the emotional toll, saying, “It hits your heart because you’re coming back and you don’t want to come, but we’re coming for Liam.”

Authorities continue to work closely with the family. Quebec provincial police (SQ) are coordinating with digital forensic experts to trace Liam’s phone, which was never recovered, and a $50,000 reward has been offered for information leading to his whereabouts.

At the time of his disappearance, Liam was reportedly wearing a black Volcom jacket, black snow pants, a green sweater, a plaid shirt, a white tuque with dark stripes, and brown work boots with black toe caps. Despite the passage of more than fifteen months, his family remains committed to returning to Mont-Tremblant until answers are found, underscoring the enduring hope and determination behind the search for Liam Toman.
